ACTION REQUIRED FOR XITRON USB "BLUE BOX" USERS
With Microsoft’s recent release of Windows 11 version 25h2, the operating system can return an “error 52” signifying that the digital signature of the USB driver fails validation. This can permanently interrupt plate output capability.
It is imperative that users immediately
turn off Microsoft Automatic Updates
to prevent this from happening.
Xitron and Microsoft are working to provide a new digital signature for the USB driver, but all users of the Xitron USB interface must take action now to prevent problems. We will post updates as they become available.
