Prepress Software/Workflow Support Technician

3+ years’ experience in Prepress, Digital Printing, or knowledge of current workflows & RIPS used within the Printing Industry?

Knowledge and experience in the setup of personal computer operating systems, printers, other peripheral equipment, Adobe CS and other applicable software?

Awesome customer service techniques, and can keep a cool head with frustrated callers and/or stressful conditions?

The strong ability to present and explain technical information to a non-technical audience, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing in the English language with all levels of staff?

Do you like to...

Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced workflow software, operating system, & network problems?

Continuously hone your technical expertise and stay up to date on the latest technologies in the Printing world?

Provide excellent customer service while resolving customer issues in a timely manner?

Teach others new and exciting systems

Travel throughout continental North America with occasional overseas opportunities (Up to 50%)
In this role, you will be...
-
Troubleshooting and diagnosing our proprietary software, and LAN/WAN network; escalating to Project Management and/or Engineer as needed
-
Creating support tickets in the ticketing system for all issues
-
Maintaining technical expertise on all Xitron products using various methods such as reviewing the latest technical information and attending training

Monitoring daily our ticket system for new and existing activities to identify and resolve continuing problems or unusual situations

Answering the phone as calls come in for support issues
