Xenith Sierra Training for Dealers This is an intense, week-long course designed to prepare dealers to train and install Xenith Sierra products. The course will cover the following subjects: Configuration of Xenith Hardware and Software, Planning for a Successful Installation, Color Management, ROOM and NORM Proofing, Using the Generic Proofing plug-in, PDF Workflow, Imposition, Trapping, Archiver, CIP3, Training Your Customer, Troubleshooting Tips, and Care and Maintenance of the Xenith System. Participants must have experience with Microsoft Windows XP/Server 2003, plus configuration of Macs and PCs for network communication. They should also have experience in the printing industry/electronic prepress. Server experiences should include: Installing Windows 2000/2003 server, Mac to PC integration, RAID, drive mapping, TCP/IP, networking, Windows security, DHCP and DNS. Prepress experience should include: Page layout software, Imposition software such as Preps or DynaStrip, Acrobat and Enfocus PitStop.
