Basic Navigator Training for Dealers
December 8-9, 2008

This course covers the fundamentals of installation and set-up for the Navigator RIP on PC platforms. As with all Xitron dealer courses, it includes hands-on exercises that focus on practical issues such as memory requirements and settings, creating inputs, configuring Page Setups for composite and separated workflow, halftone screening, calibration, and output.

This course lasts two days and participants should have some previous experience with the Windows Operating System as well as a familiarity with PostScript RIPs. There is an exam at the end of the class, which (if passed) certifies the attendee for field installation and support of Navigator RIPs. A passing grade on the exam is required before moving on to the Advanced Navigator GPS class.
