New XiFlow 2.5, now shipping, incorporates Enfocus’ PDF Library technology enabling powerful PDF tools and options. Utilizing the Enfocus PitStop Library, XiFlow 2.5 users have access to the most sophisticated preflight, editing and certification capabilities for PDF documents. The technology platform also supports Enfocus Certified PDF workflows used for optimal PDF quality assurance and streamlining print production.

In addition, the two companies announce a special promotional program: Beginning August 1 and through December 31, 2005, Xitron customers who purchase new XiFlow 2.5 will receive a free copy of Enfocus’ Instant PDF software, a $199 value. Xitron customers can either utilize Instant PDF themselves, or give it to a customer, facilitating the creation of quality PDF files that will travel through a PDF workflow without problems.

XiFlow
XiFlow was developed by Xitron to serve as a RIP manager for Harlequin RIPs including those marketed by ABDick, Agfa, Compose, ECRM, Esko-Graphics, Highwater, Mitsubishi, Presstek, and Screen, as well as Xitron’s own Navigator products. Moving workflow control from the RIP platform to the pre-press operator workstation, XiFlow allows creation of multiple job streams for all job types frequently handled by a prepress department.
