Adobe Extreme workflow designed for the 2-up and 4-up market
October 10, 2004 GRAPH EXPO, Chicago, IL -- Xitron, the industry's leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, announces today the new Xenith 4 PDF workflow designed for the 2-up and 4-up market.
Xenith 4 PDF is an Adobe(TM) Extreme compliant workflow with tools including PDF Creation, Certified PDF, Built-in Pre-Flight, In-RIP Trapping, NORM Proofing, and unlimited Macintosh(TM) and Windows(TM) clients. Xitron has hundreds of installations of Xenith products worldwide. The new Xenith 4 PDF includes all the tools necessary to enhance production in the 2-up and 4-up market at a price point that fits. Xenith 4 PDF customers can easily upgrade to Xenith Extreme when they add devices larger than 30x30 inches.
"We are thrilled to offer a product to the 2-up and 4-up market. Printers are buying CTP devices from companies like Presstek and Escher-Grad. These customers need more than just a RIP, but don't have the budget for a high-priced workflow. We have designed Xenith 4 PDF as a very robust solution at an affordable price," explains Jeffrey Nelson, Product Manger Xenith Solutions, Xitron. "No other manufacturer offers a package at such an attractive price point. It is a solid system that includes all the tools necessary to manage an all-digital workflow, and it can grow with them when they purchase larger devices."
