Remote Diagnostics and Support Available from
Team EPS for customers in North America
Ann Arbor, Michigan, – March 18, 2004 -- Xitron, the industry’s leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, announces third party support for Trendsetter CTP and film imagesetters from Team EPS.
In 2003 Xitron announced the Xitron interface to the Trendsetter devices. Customers using the Xitron interfaces are very pleased with the Xitron products. However, many continued to maintain their original interface in order to receive remote diagnostics and support for the Trendsetter itself. Xitron has partnered with TeamEPS to provide support for the Trendsetter device from the Xitron platform. Support is now available through TeamEPS with an annual service contract or by an hourly fee.
TeamEPS provides support to customers via an internet connection. Remote diagnostic software is installed on the Xitron Navigator RIP, Xenith Extreme or Raster Blaster platform connected to the Trendsetter. TeamEPS uses the Trendsetter’s diagnostic tools to fully support the devices including the ability to add support for a variety of plate materials.
Since 1993 Team EPS has provided support to hundreds of customers throughout North America providing installation, training and service for graphic arts equipment. Support from Team EPS is available in North American. More information is available at www.teameps.com or by calling 1-866-TeamEPS.
Greg Meyerratken, from Team EPS explains, “We are pleased to have Xitron recommend Team EPS to support their Trendsetter customers. We have significant experience with these devices. We are confident our services will allow Xitron’s Trendsetter customers dispose of their obsolete equipment, save money on maintenance contracts and most importantly receive superior support.”
R. Patrick French, VP of Sales and Marketing, Xitron adds, “We are thrilled to have Team EPS as a partner in supporting the Trendsetter devices. These are very popular devices and there is a lot of demand in the industry to drive the Trendsetter with a variety of third party RIPs and workflows. The Xitron Raster Blaster interface allows virtually any RIP workflow to drive the Trendsetter devices including our own Xenith Extreme workflow.”
