Xitron PRISM™ Digital Press The new PRISM digital press from Xitron complements the wide array of CTF, CTP, inkjet and digital offset presses driven by Xitron. Quickly and easily PRISM produces short-run on-demand flyers, business cards, small booklets and banners. Designed for small- to midsize commercial printers, PRISM bridges the color gap to short-run profitability. PRISM delivers fast, predictable, and profitable output for your business. PRISM is a high-quality LED-based plain paper digital imager capable of producing color-managed output at up to 36 pages per minute. Single Pass Color™ Digital technology, combined with long-lasting, individually replaceable toner cartridges and image drums, reduces interruptions. The Xitron PRISM supports jobs up to Tabloid Extra (12" x 18") and banners up to 12.9" x 47" and paper weights from 17 lb. – 72 lb. bond. Secondary paper trays offer additional flexibility. Duplexing is a standard feature. Xitron’s own Navigator Digital Controller drives the PRISM with a full compliment of professional production tools including multi-system support and color management. Upgradeability to Navigator GPS means this system can become the backbone of the pre-press department, controlling the PRISM and any combination of over 250 different output devices supported by Xitron.
